Yael Friedmann, MA, NCLMT,
Owner; Licensed, Nationally Certified Massage Therapist

Yael Friedmann has brought her vision of a wellness and education center to life on Boston’s South Shore at the Bodywork Center.  She delights in the process of integrating the body, mind and spirit of her clients through the art of bodywork.  Yael brings perspective and awareness to her clients’ bodies through her purposeful and healing touch.  Recently, her work has taken on an emphasis in osteopathic modalities including craniosacral therapy.

Prior experience in spa, medical and educational settings inspired Yael to establish The Bodywork Center for Wellness. She was an integral part of the management team at Spa Space, one of Chicago’s top day spas, led seminars in stress management and couples massage, and was on the faculty at the Soma Institute in Chicago, IL. Yael also worked as a skilled massage therapist at Universal Health Institute, a holistic chiropractic care center in Chicago, IL.

Coupled with her work with The Bodywork Center, Yael is a proud volunteer for the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork’s Ethics and Standards Committee.  She is also a contributor to Massage & Bodywork Magazine.

Yael received her certification at the Scherer Institute of Natural Healing in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with 760 hours.  She combined this with an oncology program where she volunteered at the New Mexico Oncology Clinic.  Yael is in the process of earning advanced certification in Orthopedic Massage from Ben Benjamin.

She also holds a masters degree in Art Education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and attended Hampshire College, Amherst, MA, where she focused on how individuals learn and interpret information.

Melinda Wojcieszak, NCLMT,
Licensed, Nationally Certified Massage Therapist

Melinda takes pleasure in the integrative process of the body, mind and soul. She is able to bring balance to her client’s bodies through her mindful and compassionate touch.  Using her knowledge of anatomy and physiology combined with a variety of modalities including myofascial release, deep tissue work, Therapeutic Swedish, and forms of energy healing, Melinda addresses her clients’ specific goals, as well as assists them in maintaining a sense of muscular balance.

In addition to working at The Bodywork Center, Melinda is committed to assisting the chronically ill and geriatric populations.  She volunteers at Care Alternatives Hospice, providing massage, Reiki and aromatherapy to patients and caregivers.

Melinda graduated from the Muscular Therapy Institute in Watertown, MA with 900 hours.  She is a nationally certified licensed massage therapist and AMTA member. She continued her studies in Aston-Patterning.  Melinda has experience working on people of all ages from her hospice clients to student athletes, young children and infants.

A lifelong resident of Cohasset, Melinda spent the past twenty years as the owner of Design in Bloom, a successful floral design and event company. She is the proud mother of three sons.

Suzanne M. Lituri, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist

Suzanne brings years of dedication and knowledge of massage, healing and wellness to The Bodywork Center.  She tailors services to meet clients’ individual needs with expertise in therapeutic massage, acupressure, craniosacral therapy, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and Therapeutic Swedish massage.

Prior to joining The Bodywork Center Suzanne owned Touch of Healing, a therapeutic massage practice where she created and implemented therapeutic massage programs for clients and developed a system for educating clients in proper posture alignments, stretching, strengthening and incorporating the exploration of joint flexibility. Before establishing Touch of Healing, Suzanne was a massage therapist with Brannigan Chiropractic and Associated Massage Therapist in Norwell MA and Mind Body Connection in Canton, MA, and she provided off-premise services. She was also a certified personal trainer with Fitness Resources in Needham, MA

Suzanne graduated from the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, MA with 900 hours. Suzanne is currently pursuing a Nutrionist and Exercise Physiology degree program.

Kimberly Kennedy, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist

Kim\Kimberly’s calling to bodywork began with Reiki attunements from John Harvey Gray, the longest living practicing Reiki Master Teacher in the United States. Her goal as a massage therapist is to help clients maintain or rediscover heightened awareness of their bodies and realize their own healing powers.  In both spa and fitness environments, Kimberly has worked with a range of clients such as athletes, breast cancer survivors and people with chronic illnesses and conditions including fibromyalgia and sciatica. Kimberly enjoys working in modalities such as Deep Tissue, Thai Yoga bodywork, Trigger Point Therapy and Usui Reiki Healing.

She is a active member of the AMTA and graduated from the Massage Institute of New England in Somerville, MA. Kimberly completed the program with over 600 hours concentrating on Therapeutic Swedish massage and integrated bodywork.  She became a Teacher in Training and Clinic Supervisor.
