CANCELLATION POLICY – Appointments are scheduled especially for you. Please give us 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule to avoid a $30 fee. Missed appointments will be subject to 100% missed appointment charge.

  Swedish massage incorporates long flowing stokes, deep kneading, surface friction, light tapping, and joint movement.  Beyond improving circulation, range of motion and flexibility, it also produces a general sensation of overall relaxation and well-being.

• Prenatal Massage

  Specially designed for mothers-to-be, this Swedish-style massage will help release aches and pains associated with the stress caused by physical and emotional changes associated with pregnancy.  Massage is NOT recommended during the first trimester.

  Concentration on specific areas of chronic discomfort will help disperse deep congestion and decompress painful muscle groups as well as release holding patterns in muscles and connective tissue.

• Injury Specific Massage

  Involves therapeutic assessment, followed by customized sessions focused on the specific manipulation of connective tissue, soft tissue, tendons and ligaments to reduce pain and dysfunction. Sessions are designed to restore structural balance throughout the body, and to focus specifically on prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal dysfunctions.

  Clients with recent or chronic soft tissue injury who wish to restore structural balance to prevent future injury to this area are urged to consult with their physician. Then an assessment can be scheduled to determine if this course of treatment is right for them.

• Sport Specific Massage  

  (Pre-event, Post-event or Ongoing Training) Enhance your training regimen and assist yourself in reaching your time and distance goals by stretching muscles, relieving tension, reducing pain, and preventing injury. Specifically designed to address the common aches and pains suffered by athletes, and customized to the major muscle groups used in your sport.  The session will conclude with stretching techniques and application of a soothing athletic gel.
